Insights Alibaba Group gains from its ecosystem and its proprietary technology enable Youku to deliver relevant digital media and entertainment content to its users. At the same time, Youku helps drive customer loyalty to Alibaba Group’s China commerce business by promoting and providing complementary content offerings to users. Alibaba Group acquired a controlling stake in Youku in 2016.
